Welcome to the Gulías Research Group Website

We are a young and highly motivated group trying to develop innovative ideas in organic synthesis. We are in the Center for Research in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Materials (CIQUS), a new research building at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain).

We currently focus on the development of novel C-H and C-C bond activation processes using transition metal catalysts and the development of asymmetric versions. Ultimately, we apply these methods in the synthesis of complex natural products with pharmacological properties.
